Hattusaaren Aurinkorantamökit rents 3 comfortable cottages during spring, summer, and fall. We rent the cottages for weekends (with the possibility of extension) and whole weeks. During the summer season, rentals are mainly for full weeks.

All our cottages have their own shoreline to lake Pielinen, as well as a Finnish Sauna. All cottages have the comforts of home, with indoor bathrooms and electricity, as well as a fully furnished kitchen and living and sleeping spaces. All cottages also have a fire site on the shore and grilling possibilities with a charcoal grill and an electric grill. During summer the cottages will also have some yard activity equipment (such as a dartboard and yard croquet). Please note and adhere to local forest fire warnings.

The cottages do not have wi-fi, but they are mostly within the reach of Finnish mobile networks and local stores may have prepaid internet SIM cards.

Pets: Pets are not allowed on Aurinkoranta, but are allowed on Lomapielinen and Rinnemaja. Please note that there is a 10€ addition to the rent cost when there are pets staying. (Prices)

Koli village center is about 18 km away
Ukko-Koli slopes are about 20 km away
Koli National Park is about 20 km away

2 bedrooms: one downstairs with a double bed, and one upstairs with two single beds and one 120 cm-wide bed. Additionally, there are 3 single beds and one mattress in the 2nd-floor loft. Electric sauna stove. No pets allowed.

Lomapielinen – For 1-4(+1) persons (69m²)

2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. Convertible sofa in the living area. Wood-stove sauna. Pets allowed.

Rinnemaja – For 1-2(+2)persons (59m²)

1 bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. Convertible sofa in the living area. Wood-stove sauna. Pets allowed.

Pricing 2025

When renting, cottage guests agree to do the final cleaning at the end of their stay, as well as bring their own linen and towels, unless otherwise agreed.

Before reservation, please notify us of any pets that will be staying at the cottage. A maximum of 2 pets allowed. (Please note that the additional pet fee is paid per pet; no pets are allowed at the Aurinkoranta cottage.)

During the summer season, the cottages are rented mainly for weeks at a time, where the end date is Saturday (or Sunday), unless otherwise agreed. You may request a shorter rental (min. 3 days) for the summer from the beginning of June.

There is a discount for a 2-week rental, which is -20€.
